CANCELLATIONS DUE TO COVID
Cancellation due to Covid-19 mandate

If the party needs to be canceled due to a Covid-19 mandate or government stay-at-home restrictions that legally forbid the party from taking place, or due to Mermaid Tarielle being required to isolate, you will receive a full refund.
Cancellation due to guests/host Covid-19 issue

If you need to cancel the party because you or your child need to isolate due to Covid-19, you will receive a full refund (with proof of isolation status).

If you wish to cancel for any other Covid-19 related issue such as guests isolating, capacity/density limits changing or other related issues, the usual cancellation policies apply.

CANCELLATIONS DUE TO BAD WEATHER
Changing location

If the weather forecast for the event does not meet the requirements laid out by Mermaid Tarielle on the "Children's Parties" section of this website, you will be required to move the event to a dry, undercover (depending on the rain forecast) location. There are no surcharges or fees for changing location as long as this is within 10km of the original location (if it is not, it may incur additional travel fees depending on the distance of the new location to Mermaid Tarielle).
Cancellation due to bad weather

If you choose to completely cancel or reschedule your party due to bad weather, usual cancellation policies apply.

USUAL CANCELLATIONS/RESCHEDULES
Cancellation with more than 4 weeks notice

If you need to cancel or reschedule the party for any reason with more than 4 weeks notice you will receive a full refund or free reschedule.
Cancellation with less than 4 weeks notice

If you need to cancel the party with less than 4 weeks notice you will receive a refund minus a 35% deposit of your party cost (the deposit does not include any travel costs).

If you choose to reschedule with less than 4 weeks notice you will need to pay a 35% rescheduling fee.
Cancellation within 48 hours

If you cancel or reschedule within 48 hours of the party, no refund will be given.
